The iPhone Dev Team quietly released RedSn0w 0.9.13dev2 to address issues with SSH and app crashes that some users were experiencing.
The developer versions of RedSn0w are for developers wishing to jailbreak their iOS 6 beta installations. Since this version of RedSn0w does not install Cydia, SSH access is imperative, hence the fix for the users experiencing difficulties.
Per the Dev Team’s Blog:
Update #1: The “dev2” version should fix the various SSH problems and crashes with apps that some have been seeing.Head over to our downloads page to download this latest version of RedSn0w. To learn how to jailbreak your iOS 6 beta installation, check out our iOS 6 beta 2 jailbreak tutorial.
Please note, that RedSn0w 0.9.13dev2 was not released with the intent to allow you to use the latest iOS 6 beta 2 release from Apple. For this reason, you will still need to point back to previous firmware as outlined in our iOS 6 beta 2 jailbreak tutorial.
