It has been a while since we've heard any update about jailbreak iOS 5 untethered. However, today we've got some great news about the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak from the Chronic Dev Team. Pod2g, a member of the team, has discovered a bug in iOS 5 which will lead to untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.
There's still no ETA about the released. Pod2g said that the team will be working on releasing the jailbreak as soon as possible. The untethered jailbreak on iOS 5 will be possible for all devices except the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
iPad 2 and iPhone 4S jailbreak is currently under work by P0sixninja of Chornic Dev Team and MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team.
